MCF Discovery Team 2024

Mully Children’s Family Canada loves to send teams to encourage our Kenyan MCF partners! While in Kenya, we spend time with the MCF team, get to know some of the children and see firsthand the projects we are part of. Quite simply, we offer the gift of ‘presence’ - the opportunity of just being there to listen and encourage.


On July 13th, 2024 a group of 11 adults and 11 young people from 5 different families will embark upon an MCF adventure DISCOVERING several MCF locations, both on the east coast of Kenya and at the main compound in Ndalani. We will come back to Canada able to share with family and friends the remarkable life-changing work by Mully Children’s Family in redeeming over 30,000 abandoned and vulnerable children.


This work has not been done alone, but with the divine intervention and guidance of our Lord! We will spend time encouraging the children and young mothers who had no hope but now have a bright future. We will keenly listen to the beneficiaries who will share their miraculous stories. We will return more eager to help the thousands of children yet to be saved and redeemed by Mully Children’s Family.

We started with breakfast in the hotel and devotions as a group on the hotel patio. Why we are going...

Thank you for joining us on this journey as we prepare our trip to visit MCF.   We have had had two meetings to learn and prepare for our trip. Praying, Preparing and Packing

Our team gathered to meet in June and to reflect on our group passage Isaiah 6:8, prepare our expectations well as learn about Kenyan culture.  We chose the passage from Isaiah 6:8, as it represents our response to God's invitation to join and see His work in Kenya through Mully's Children's Family. We are reminded as we read the whole Chapter 6 that Isaiah encountered our holy, Lord Almighty and instantly confesses his unworthiness, particularly his lips. Yet by God's grace, the Lord sends a seraphim to cleanse Isaiah and takes away all his guilt.  Then God asks, "Whom shall I send? And who will go with us?" Isaiah responds, "Here I am. Send me" and becomes one of God's prophets, using his mouth to proclaim God's good news.  Please pray for our group to have our thoughts, intentions, desires cleansed and purified so that we can be used by God.  Please pray for our group to be flexible, humble, adaptable and teachable.  Today we gathered to p...
